ihlet...?

going dark

dusk for the dust, foul set to fail
crying out for god to make me prevail
the growth is all but natural now
life set to decay, well anyhow
the fading gray circle, tempus fugit
cells in a frenzy, that's all there's to it
life spilling out into the light
screaming into...
screaming into...
delight.

a white halo slowly forming
while all around me is going dark
eyes staring out empty and devoid
not a single spark
going dark

tearing out bad stumps of hair
skin peeling so now the soul's bare
stems in mindless replication
bowing to a fearful dedication
a promise of dna never kept
standing stranded and bereft
of all emotion, of all those hopes
sliding into...
sliding into hell's slopes

a carcass painted pale and white
while all around me is going dark
reflected in your eyes no longer
not a single spark
going dark

all the fuses, see them all blown
gleaming bright halo come crashing down
crushing me, pushing me into the dark
where all this ends and nothing starts
absent now and forever at your post
losing what should never be lost
a soul let go and a body gone
hurtling into...
hurtling into... oblivion

now all around me is all but dark
